Tour de France Stage 8: Route, TV Schedule, Live Updates And More

Stage 8 of the Tour de France will begin early Sunday morning, as current leader Bradley Wiggins looks to defend his ten second advantage over second place rider Cadel Evans.

Stage 8 will take riders on a 158 kilometer race beginning in Belfort, France and ending in Porrentruy, Switzerland. Other than brief stretches at the start and conclusion of the race, this stage will challenge competitors with a hilly terrain. Last year, Portugal's Rui Costa won the event.

France's Thomas Voeckler is known for handling rougher, mountainous terrain and is certainly a cyclist to watch for on Sunday. He has, however, been dealing with a nagging knee injury that could hold him back from stealing a victory and improving on his current ranking (65th overall, 16:13 behind Wiggins).
