2012 Tour de France, Stage 5: Route, TV Schedule, Live Updates And More

The fifth state of the 2012 Tour de France spins into action on Thursday morning. Cycling fans in the United States can watch the action live and follow along online as the historic race continues.

Stage 5 begins in the city of Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy. The route stretches for 196.5 km before ending the day in Saint-Quentin. A detailed map of the race with additional information about each stage, the course and other points of interest is available on the official Tour de France website.

Fabian Cancellara is still in the lead, the only player to wear the yellow jersey since the first stage of the race. Bradley Wiggins of the UK trails Cancellara followed by Sylvain Chavanel of France.

Coverage starts at 8 a.m. Eastern on the NBC Sport Network. You can also watch the race online, with a subscription.
