The 2012 Championships at Wimbledon are officially down to the nitty gritty, with the men's quarterfinals set for Wednesday. Just eight players remains on the men's draw, competing for one of four spots in the semifinals at the All England Club.
No. 3 Roger Federer will start the day at Centre Court, taking on No. 26 Mikhail Youzhny of Russia at 8 a.m. ET. Following the completion of the match, No. 7 David Ferrer will try to top No. 4 Andy Murray.
Court No. 1 will, funny enough, host No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic as he tries to take out No. 31 Florian Mayer of Germany at 8 a.m. ET. No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will play another German, No. 27 Philipp Kohlschreiber, as soon as Djokovic-Mayer wraps up.
