Team USA Vs. Tunisia: Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love Score 16 In USA's 110-63 Win

Team USA men's basketball defeated Tunisia 110-63 on Tuesday in Group A play at the 2012 London Olympics.

The U.S. only led 46-33 at halftime but were able to find the range on their three-point shots in the second half to win easily. Team USA also went on to score 54 of their points in the paint in what resembled a dunk contest at times. As a result of the dunks, the U.S. shot 73% from inside the arc on the night. After making seven threes in the first half, Tunisia could only manage to make two more in the second half.

Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love shared the team's scoring lead with 16 points. Kevin Durant had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and James Harden also reached double figures in scoring for the U.S. Center Tyson Chandler appeared to knock his hand against the rim in the second half and was seen sitting on the bench with ice on the hand during the latter stages of the game. Chandler had six points and six rebounds in 15 minutes. He only had one personal foul which was a promising development after the exhibition games leading up to the Olympics. Tunisia's Makrem Ben Romdhane led all scorers with 22 points and he also picked up a double-double with 12 rebounds.

The U.S. has Nigeria in Group A play on Aug. 2.
