On Wednesday night, Fenway Park will be hosting a very special and unique event.
Soccer clubs Liverpool and Roma are making the trip from their respective countries to put on a show for some American fans.
Roma was in Chicago on Sunday, beating the Polish club Zaglebie Lubin by the blowout score of 4-0. Now, they come into Boston riding a wave of confidence against Liverpool, who arrives in Beantown after playing to a draw against Toronto.
The coach of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers, will be keeping a close eye on the newly signed Fabio Borini. Borini is expected to make a nice impact for the English club.
This game should prove to be a nice barometer for both sides, with Liverpool gearing up for their regular season which starts in just over a week.
One familiar face that many Americans will know from the national team is Michael Bradley, who plays for Roma.
