Nothing is more exciting for many in the Summer Olympics than watching Team USA Basketball running on all cylinders.

Most would think of the men's team, but the women are just as thrilling, especially with such a star-studded roster headed to London.

Much of the squad as a Boston-area flavor, with so many of the girls having played for UConn. No less than six played for Connecticut and Olympic coach Geno Auriemma, including Sue Bird, Swin Cash, Tina Charles, Asjha Jones, Maya Moore and Diana Taurasi.

After breezing through the exhibition games leading up to the Summer Games, the USA Women's Team will refocus and prepare to fight they're way to the medal round.

The United States is in Pool A, with Angola, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Turkey. The top two teams will advance for a chance to medal.

The schedule for the U.S. team is as follows:

Saturday, July 28: Croatia

Monday, July 30: Angola

Wednesday, August 1: Turkey

Friday, August 3: Czech Republic

Sunday, August 5: China
