Team USA Vs. Argentina Final Score: Kevin Durant Leads U.S. In 86-80 Win

Team USA men's basketball defeated Argentina, 86-80, in a tune-up game in Barcelona, Spain before the 2012 London Olympics. The U.S. is now 4-0 in their pre-Olympic contests.

Team USA started the game 7-13 from behind the three-point arc and were able to build a 20-point lead before they got too comfortable and allowed Argentina to claw back into the game. The U.S. didn't hit any of their seven three-point attempts in the second quarter and finished the game 13-34 from behind the arc. With 2:50 left to play, the U.S. was only up 78-74 after a three-point play by Manu Ginobili. Then, Kevin Durant hit a three, followed by a three from Chris Paul which would give the U.S. enough of a cushion to hold on for the win.

Durant led the U.S. with 27 points. Kobe Bryant had 18 points and LeBron James had 15 points. Ginobili had 23 points for Argentina while Carlos Delfino had 15 and Luis Scola had 14 points.
