2012 British Open: TV Coverage, How To Watch Online And More

Can Tiger Woods win his first major golf tournament in four years? Woods is currently the favorite to win the 2012 British Open, but he has to hold off a tough field of competitors. He gets his chance on Thursday when the first round of the tournament begins at Royal Lytham.

Golf fans who want to see all the action need to set their alarms. ESPN will broadcast play starting at 4:30 a.m. Eastern. Coverage runs through 3 p.m. followed by a recap and highlights from the first round of play.

Fans can also watch the action online via ESPN3. Live streaming coverage starts at 4 a.m. with action from holes 9-11. Streaming coverage expands at 5 a.m., and will mirror the ESPN broadcast through 3 p.m.
