2012 Tour de France, Stage 13: Route, TV Schedule, Live Updates And More

Stage 13 of the 2012 Tour de France takes place Saturday, and the 217km run from Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux to Le Cap d’Agde may hold a surprise or two for the peloton. At first glance it appears to be a stage tailor made for sprinters, but a run down the windy coast and a Category 3 climb at the tail end of the stage may see the peloton split in two.

Anytime there's a split peloton the opportunities open up. Stage 13 could see a well-timed breakaway escape and take the stage win, or a rider with their eye on the overall win who has slipped in the standings may see it as their chance to climb back up the General Classification rankings.
