Connecticut Sun Vs. Chicago Sky: Sun Look For Fifth Consecutive Win

The Sun travel to play the Sky on Friday night (8:30 p.m.).

The Connecticut Sun (14-4) will be on the road on Friday to take on the Chicago Sky (8-8).

The Sun are road warriors this season with a record of 7-1 while the Sky are only 4-5 at home on the year. The Sun have a 3.5 game lead over Indiana in the Eastern Conference have won four games in a row. The Sky are only 3-7 in their last 10 outings and have dropped their last three games.

Tina Charles averages a double-double for the Sun with 18.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Kara Lawson is the top distributor with 3.6 assists per game but is also the second-leading scorer for Connecticut with 14.9 points per game. Chicago has missed top scorer Epiphany Prince (22.3 ppg) who is out with a foot injury. Sylvia Fowles and Swin Cash are the top players in Prince's absence. Fowles averages 18.4 points and 12.5 rebounds per game while Cash averages 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

After Friday's game the WNBA will have a month-long break due to the 2012 London Olympics. The Sun will send Asjha Jones and Tina Charles to the Olympics to play for Team USA.
