2012 Tour de France, Stage 11: Route, TV Schedule, Live Updates And More

The 2012 Tour de France entered the difficult mountain stages on Wednesday. Out of the running for the yellow jersey, Thomas Voeckler won Stage 10. Billy Wiggins still has a hold on the yellow jersey. On Thursday, the going gets even tougher as riders embark on Stage 11.

The day starts in Albertville. From there, the course for Stage 11 snakes up and down the roads of the French Alps for 148 km, ending with a long climb to La Toussuire. Much shorter than the previous stage, which ran for nearly 200 km, Stage 11 features four climbs to test riders.

Fans can watch the race starting at 8 a.m. Eastern time on the NBC Sports Network. The race will also be available via live stream on Tour de France live, subscription required.
