The Connecticut Sun defeated the Indiana Fever by a score of 89-81 on Friday night, improving to 5-1 and breaking a three way tie for first. If Chicago loses on Friday, the Sun will find themselves alone at the top of the standings.

Tina Charles, near the top of the individual standings in points scored, had 12 points for the night.
