Connecticut Sun Vs. Indiana Fever: Sun Look To Keep Rolling In Indy

Asjha Jones and the Connecticut Sun (4-1) are in search of their fifth win in their last six games as they take on the Indiana Fever (4-1) at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Tina Charles and the Connecticut Sun (4-1) are in search of their fifth win in six games as they face the Indiana Fever (4-1) at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Connecticut opened the season with three straight wins, but lost to the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx before getting back into the win column with a 95-86 win against the Washington Mystics on June 3. Tina Charles, who scored 30 points and nine rebounds in the win over Washington, has had a strong start to the season, averaging a team-high 22.4 points and 10.6 rebounds.

Indiana has had a similar start to the new campaign, winning four straight to open the year before losing to the New York Liberty, 87-72, in the second half of a back-to-back on June 3. Tamika Catchings scored 19 to lead the Fever in the loss.

Last season, Indiana held the season series advantage against Connecticut, 3-2, and was 2-0 against the Sun at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Connecticut leads the all-time series against Indiana, 26-18.
