With rookie third baseman Will Middlebrooks batting .316 through 38 games, the Boston Red Sox making a trade to deal away Kevin Youkilis seems more and more likely every day, according to a report from MLB Trade Rumors. Details on who is looking at Youkilis as well as where that information comes from is after the jump.
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe brings more evidence that a trade is coming:
Bobby V had a chat with Youkilis that he'll be sitting for a while and Middlebrooks will play.

Buster Olney from ESPN adds that teams around the league expect it to happen soon:
Folks with other teams believe a Youkilis trade could happen at any time; they believe Red Sox are just working to nudge offers forward.

And David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Braves are one of the teams looking at Youk:
#Braves have had scouts checking out #RedSox 1B/3B Youkilis more than once in past week. Sox would pay most of contract, so gotta look.

All together, things seem to be pointing towards Youkilis making his exit from Boston sooner rather than later.
