Red Sox Vs. Marlins Lineups: David Ortiz Starts At First In Marlins Park

The Red Sox will have David Ortiz at first base as they head back to a National League ballpark Monday night to take on the Miami Marlins. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. EST with broadcasts on NESN, ESPN, and WEEI.

The infield shuffle between Adrian Gonzalez, Kevin Youkilis, and Will Middlebrooks is just that much more complicated and crowded now that the DH spot is out the window for the next six games and David Ortiz is thrown into the mix. Hitting .308/.391/.585 on the season, Ortiz is hardly expendable, but especially against left-handed pitchers the Sox will struggle to figure out which of the four will sit on any given night.

Tonight, however, the odd man out is Will Middlebrooks, as Adrian Gonzalez takes over in right field, Ortiz at first, and Youkilis mans third.
