Kentucky Derby 2012: Post Positions, Time, TV Coverage And More

The 138th Kentuck Derby takes place Saturday, with coverage beginning on NBC at 5 p.m. ET. Bodemeister is a 4-1 favorite as of Saturday morning.

The 2012 Kentucky Derby is here. As of Saturday morning of the race, Bodemeister is the favorite at 4-1 odds and Union Rags trails slightly behind at 9-2. For live betting odds, visit KentuckyDerby.com.

The TV schedule, time and post positions follow:

Time: The 138th Kentucky Derby is scheduled to begin at 6:24 p.m. ET.

TV Schedule: NBC will televise the race starting at 5 p.m. ET and ending at 7 p.m. ET with pre- and post-race coverage. Viewers can also observe the undercard on the NBC Sports Network from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or NBC's Red Carpet Special from 4-5 p.m.
