Indy 500: Start Time, TV Coverage And More

One of motorsports greatest traditions, the Indianapolis 500, will be run Sunday (12 p.m. ET on ABC). Ryan Briscoe will be on the pole for the 96th running of "The Greatest Spectacle in Motorsports" which will also feature James Hinchcliffe and Ryan Hunter-Reay on the first row.

The Indy 500 will be an emotional one as last year's winner Dan Wheldon, who died in an on-the-track crash last October, will be honored with many pre-race tributes. One of them being the Wheldon's former car owner taking laps around the track in tribute of the fallen driver.

Pre-race predictions have Chevy has a heavy favorite to come away with the victory with Briscoe and Helio Castroneves, a three-time winner of the race, as the favorites to pull out the victory.
