After an opening round 65, Ian Poulter is the leader in the clubhouse at the 2012 Players Championship at 7-under-par from TPC Sawgrass. Poulter leads Blake Adams, who is also finished for the day, by one stroke.
Vermont native Keegan Bradley finished his first round with an even 72, good for a tie for 61st place. Scott Stallings from Worcester, MA, is also even on the day through 14 holes.
Last year's winner K.J. Choi is buried near the bottom of the leaderboard with a 3-over-par 75 (t-121st).
