Bruins Vs. Sabres: B's Take On Buffalo At Home In Last Regular Season Game

The B's have just one more game to get through before the long push for the playoffs, and it seems almost fitting that they would be playing against the Buffalo Sabres.

It seems like the season just started yesterday, but today marks Game 82--the final regular season game for the Bruins.

They will take on the Buffalo Sabres, though the Sabres are officially out of playoff contention. However, that being said, Buffalo should be giving their all in the final game.

Boston has bested Buffalo three-out-of-five times this season, though the Sabres have had their fair share of stomping. In the last meeting between these two teams, the Bruins took a 3-1 win after the previous game where they lost 2-1.

Tonight's game also marks "Fan Appreciation Night" where Bruins fans will have the chance to win prizes throughout the whole game. One of those prizes includes the annual "Shirts Off Their Backs" where each of the Bruins players will give their jerseys that they wore during the game to a fan.

Today will also be the day that the Bruins will find out who they will play against in the first round of the playoffs--the Ottawa Senators or the Washington Capitals.

If Ottawa loses in regulation and Washington wins in either regulation or in overtime, the Bruins will play host to the Capitals. But if the Senators take just one point in their game against the Devils this afternoon, the B's will host them, OR if Washington loses their game.

The puck drops at 4 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on NESN and aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
