There's nothing better to watch in sports than a win-or-go-home Game 7, NHL Playoff contest, and that's what the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals will play Wednesday night at the TD Garden (7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network). The Bruins will try to ride the momentum of their Game 6, overtime victory, 4-3, to move onto the semifinal round of the Eastern Conference playoffs and one step closer to Lord Stanley's Cup.
Last season, the Bruins were 3-0 in Game 7 situations, however, Boston center Chris Kelly said Monday that makes no difference entering Wednesday.
"Last year's last year. I think we quickly realized that in October, when we went 3-7," center Chris Kelly said Monday. "In the same breath, it's nice to have played in Game 7s before to have that to reflect upon and look back on, but this is a whole new year and a whole new challenge, and one of those things that we're all looking forward to."
