2012 Big East Basketball Tournament, UConn Vs. DePaul Score Update: Huskies 46, Blue Demons 33

Looking to solidify their NCAA tournament seeding, the Connecticut Huskies shot lights out against DePaul in the first half of their opening round Big East Tournament matchup Tuesday afternoon, and entered intermission with a 46-33 lead.

UConn hit 55 percent from the field and went 7-9 from behind the arc while holding DePaul to 29.4 percent shooting, but suffered an offensive drought late in the half that allowed DePaul to stay within shouting distance.

The Huskies quickly built a 35-25 lead, drilling each of their first seven triples. Jeremy Lamb hit three of those long bombs en route to scoring 15 points in the first 11 minutes.

Lamb paced UConn's offensive attack with 17 points, but only scored two in the final nine minutes.
