A10 Tournament 2012: UMass To Host First-Round Contest As No. 8 Seed

The Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball tournament field is now finalized, as the league closed out its regular season on Saturday. The UMass Minutemen will be a part of the four-round, 12-team event that will hold its quarterfinals, semifinals and championship rounds at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.

For the Minutemen, who earned the No. 8 seed, they'll need to win their first-round game against visiting Duquesne Dukes Tuesday if they'd like to make it there.

A first-round victory would advance UMass to the quarterfinals where it will face the top-seeded Temple Owls.

Here's a look at the bracket and TV schedule for the A10 Tournament that tips off Tuesday, March 6:

Tuesday, March 6, First Round (games played at lowest-seeded team):

7 p.m.: (No. 9-seeded) Duquesne Dukes at (8) UMass Minutemen

7 p.m.: (12) Charlotte 49ers at (5) St. Joseph's Hawks

7: p.m.: (10) Richmond Spiders at (7) La Salle Explorers

7: p.m: (11) George Washington Colonials at (6) Dayton Flyers

Friday, March 9, Quarterfinals (on CBS Sports Network, Atlantic City):

Noon: (1) Temple Owls vs. (Winner of No. 9/8 game)

2:30 p.m.: (4) St. Bonaventure Bonnies vs. (Winner of No. 12/5 game)

6:30 p.m.: (2) Saint Louis Billikens vs. (Winner of No. 10/7 game)

9 p.m.: (3) Xavier Musketeers vs. (Winner of No. 11/6 game)

Saturday, March 10, Semifinals (on CBS Sports Network):

1 p.m.: Winners of Friday's early games

3:30 p.m.: Winners of Friday's late games

Sunday, March 10, Championship Game (on CBS):

1 p.m.: Winners of Saturday's games
