TV Schedule, March 4: Celtics And Bruins Face New York, Red Sox Play Twins

NHL

Boston Bruins at New York Rangers - 12:30 p.m. (TV: NBC/WHDH) The Bruins suffered a loss Saturday afternoon at the hands of the New York Islanders, and will face the Islanders' neighboring New York Rangers in this Sunday matinee. The Broadway Blueshirts have the top spot in the Eastern Conference in hand over the Bruin. It will be up to a decimated Bruins team to snag a win to close the gap between these top two teams.

Philadelphia Flyers at Washington Capitals - 7 p.m. (TV: NBC Sports)

NBA

New York Knicks at Boston Celtics - 1 p.m. (TV: ABC/WCVB) Will the Celtics keep their three game post-All Star Game winning streak alive? The Celtics beat the Knicks, 91-89, at the start of February, and will seek to do the same Sunday afternoon at the TD Garden. New York comes in having scored a season-high 120 points in their last game, played Wednesday against Cleveland.

Miami Heat at Los Angeles Lakers - 3:30 p.m. (TV: ABC/WCVB)

MLB

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins - 1:30 p.m. (TV: NESN) After handily defeating two college opponents Saturday, the Red Sox will commence their exhibition schedule against other MLB teams. Up to the plate first are the Minnesota Twins in this Sunday afternoon game.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Yankees - 1 p.m. (TV: MLB Network) It's never too early to catch a glimpse at the Red Sox's AL East opponents.
