The America East basketball conference tournament kicks on Thursday, with just one game of action on the slate.
Binghamton and UMBC, the two last place teams in the conference, will square off on Thursday night in opening round action. The game will be played at Hartford, the site of the tournament up until the finals, when the higher seeded institution of the two finalists will play host.
Boston University, the third seed in the tournament, will play Hartford on Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. EST in the final quarterfinal matchup of the day.
All four of the quarterfinals contests will be played on Satudrday, and are listed below (all times Eastern):
1. Stony Brook Vs. 8. UMBC/9. BInghamton, 12:05 p.m.
2. Vermont Vs. 7. Maine, 6:05 p.m.
3. Boston University Vs. 6. Hartford, 8:15 p.m.
4. Albany Vs. 5. New Hampshire, 2:15 p.m.

Television coverage of the event will begin for the semifinals on Sunday, which will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The winner of the tournament will automatically qualify for the NCAA tournament.
