Boston University Vs. Maine Final Update: Terriers Knock Down Black Bears 67-54

Boston University (14-13, 10-3 America East) did something they couldn't accomplish all season long Thursday night, they went over the .500 mark.

Despite having four of their starters sit to begin the game, the Terriers never trailed in the 67-54 victory over Maine (11-12, 5-7 AE).

The Terriers received a balanced effort in the win, with nine of 10 players scoring and four players finishing with nine points or more. Senior guard Darryl Partin led the way with 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting and sophomore forward Dom Morris added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Center Patrick Hazel finished with nine points and nine rebounds despite coming up limping twice. The senior captain had to sit out for nearly 10 minutes in the second half due to an apparent right knee injury, but returned late in the half to give the Terriers a boost.

Mike Allison led the Black Bears with 15 points and 10 rebounds but it wasn't enough in slowing down Boston University on the glass. The Terriers held a 44-35 rebounding advantage and a 30-24 lead in the paint.

Boston University will be back in action Wednesday when they host New Hampshire at 7 p.m.
