Patriots vs. Jaguars halftime score: Jacksonville and New England tied at 13 at the half

At the conclusion of one half in Jacksonville, the New England Patriots and the home-standing Jaguars are deadlocked in a tie, 13-13.

A lengthy catch-and-run by reserve tailback Montell Owens set up the Jags deep within Patriots territory. However, the New England defense came through with another stop, forcing another Josh Scobee field goal attempt. His try was good as the Jaguars extended their lead to 13-3.

After again failing to capitalize on another solid drive, the Patriots would be forced to settle for a Stephen Gostkowski 49-yard field goal attempt. His kick would go straight through the uprights and New England had cut the deficit to 13-6.

Towards the end of the half, the Patriots began to put another successful drive together as the clock began to tick under a minute to play. The drive would conclude with the Patriots' first touchdown of the day, courtesy of a 14-yard Danny Woodhead reception.
