The New England Patriots have a playoff spot and the AFC East all wrapped up but they still have plenty to play for in the final two regular season games. They're sitting one game behind the Denver Broncos in the AFC playoff standings and the Broncos have the all-important first-round bye.
The Patriots need a clean sweep of their final two games and need the Broncos to drop one of their final two to claim the spot. As usual, the Patriots injury report is lengthy but New England could be getting a big offensive weapon back this week. Rob Gronkowski was limited in practice after coming back from a broken forearm. He could see the field Sunday against the Jaguars. Tight end Aaron Hernandez is also listed as questionable as he deals with an ankle injury. Wide receiver Wes Welker mirrors Hernandez both in injury and game status.
Defensively, cornerback Aqib Talib is listed as questionable with a hip injury while linebacker Jerod Mayo is also listed as questionable with an elbow injury.
Here's a look at the full injury report from the Patriots website.
