The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 92-79, on Saturday at the TD Garden and put the teams back in a tie in the Atlantic Division. Both teams are 11-9 on the season and 3½ games behind the New York Knicks in the division.

While Thaddeus Young had a game-high 22 points for the Sixers, four Celtics reached double figures in scoring in the game. Rajon Rondo was not among the four Celtics in double figures in scoring, but he filled the stat sheet with seven points, nine rebounds, three steals and 11 assists. The win was the third in the last five games for Boston and came on the heels of a 95-94 defeat by Philadelphia on Friday in overtime. Rondo had his 14th career triple-double (16 points, 14 assists, 13 rebounds) in that game but couldn't find his balance to get off a chance to beat the buzzer.

The Celtics are off until Wednesday when they host the Dallas Mavericks (10-10).
