The Boston Celtics will try to win without their star point guard while the No. 9 Terriers take on the top-ranked Eagles in a Boston showdown.
↵NBA: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m., CSN-New England: Boston will try to win without Rajon Rondo, as their point guard is suspended for two games after instigating a fight against the Brooklyn Nets. The last time he missed a game, it was against the Nets, and the team acquitted themselves well with Leandro Barbosa scoring 17 in a close loss. The Blazers are coming off a loss to the now 1-12 Washington Wizards, so they'll be hoping to make up for that embarrassing outing against Boston.
College hockey: No. 9 Boston University vs. No. 1 Boston College, 7:30 p.m., NBC Sports Network: The Terriers hop on the Green Line to face their biggest rival down in Chestnut Hill. The crosstown rivalry is obviously one of the biggest in college hockey, and its as important as ever, with both squads in the top 10. The Eagles have only lost one game all year - a season opener to Northeastern - winning all ten since, and holding a 1-0 lead in the season series over BU.
