For the sixth straight week, Boston College in No. 1 in the USCHO.com men's college hockey poll.
A week after the Eagles lost points in the poll, they were once again close to the unanimous choice as the No. 1 team. Boston College received 49 of a possible 50 first place votes. That is up from the 47 first place votes the Eagles received last week. At 999 points, Boston College has a 63-point lead over No. 2 New Hampshire. The 999 point votes trail only the 1,000 votes Boston College received in the November 12 poll.
New Hampshire moved up one spot to No. 2 and collected the only other first place vote. It moved up in part because Denver dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 after an 0-2 weekend. New Hampshire beat Denver, 6-4, on Saturday. Boston University also moved up one spot, improving to No. 10 while Cornell dropped three spots to No. 13. Harvard remained at No. 17.
