NCAA Football Rankings, Week 12: Oregon becomes No. 1 in AP Poll

The Oregon Ducks have moved to the head of the class in college football.

US PRESSWIRE

The Oregon Ducks are now the No. 1 team in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll following an Alabama Crimson Tide loss this weekend.

Oregon has long been trying to overtake Alabama, and finally did so with the combination of the Tide's loss and the Ducks beating the California Golden Bears in convincing fashion.

The Kansas State Wildcats are No. 2 in the poll, followed by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Alabama and the Georgia Bulldogs in that order.
