KHL, Lev Praha vs. Dynamo Moscow, ESPN2, 1 p.m.: Zdeno Chara won't be playing for the Boston Bruins for the time being, but the team's captain is playing for Lev, a Prague-based team in Russia's KHL, while the lockout rages on. In today's matchup, one of several ESPN has agreed with the Russian league to broadcast stateside, Chara squares off against a Dynamo Moscow team led by Alex Ovechkin.

MLB: San Francisco Giants vs. Cincinnati Reds, TBS, 5:30 p.m.: The Reds took both road games at San Francisco and now return home for a trio of opportunities to move onto the NLCS. The Giants won't be thrilled to look up and find Homer Bailey, just one start removed from a no-hitter, on the mound. He faces off against Ryan Vogelsong.

Detroit Tigers vs. Oakland A's, TBS, 9 p.m.: Many worried that the 2-3 format of the division series would lead to exactly what would happen in this ALDS: a higher-seeded team down a pair of games after opening the series with a couple of losses on the road. Oakland will have to sweep their three games at home in order to move on. Their starter, Brett Anderson, only pitched in six games this year, one of which was a loss to the Tigers. Anibal Sanchez takes the mound for the Tigers with hopes of closing out the series in the minimum of three games.
