The Alabama Crimson Tide are still No. 1 in the Week 7 Coaches' Poll. The Oregon Ducks hold at second, and received a first-place vote. After the top two, the rankings start to get crazy.

Nos. 3, 4, and 5 all went down over the weekend. LSU fell to Florida, Florida State was upset by North Carolina State and Georgia was destroyed by the South Carolina Gamecocks. LSU drops to No. 8, FSU down to 11 and Georgia falls to No. 12.

South Carolina rises to No. 3, followed by West Virginia and Kansas State. The Gators climbed five spots to No. 6 on the strength of their victory over the Tigers. Notre Dame moves up to No. 7 thanks to all the losses in front of them.

The No. 9 USC Trojans and No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners returned to the top 10 after early-season losses knocked them out. Louisiana Tech and Iowa State debut at Nos. 24 and 25.
