With big wins in Week 9, the Florida State Seminoles and Clemson Tigers cracked the top 10 in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25. Florida State checks in at No. 9, and Clemson is ranked No. 10.
The Seminoles cruised past Duke, 48-7, at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla., Saturday. Clemson blew out Wake Forest, 42-13, in a primetime showcase at Winston-Salem, N.C., Thursday. Florida State leads Clemson by a half game in the ACC Atlantic Division and holds the head-to-head tie breaker by virtue of a 49-37 win over the Tigers on Sept. 22.
The Alabama Crimson Tide remained No. 1 in this week's rankings, strengthening their grip on the top spot after a 38-7 home win over previously unbeaten Mississippi State. With a 55-24 victory over Texas Tech, Kansas State moved up to No. 2. Florida, last week's second-ranked team, dropped to No. 7 after a 17-9 defeat at the hands of the Georgia Bulldogs.
