Patriots vs. Rams score: Tom Brady, New England up 28-7 at halftime

The New England Patriots lead the St. Louis Rams, 28-7, at halftime of Sunday's game in London.

With the game tied 7-7 heading into the second quarter, Patriots running back Shane Vereen broke the tie with a 1-yard touchdown run with 14 minutes left in the first half.

The Patriots pushed their lead to 21-7 with less than seven minutes to go in the half. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady hit tight end Rob Gronkowski up the middle for a 7-yard touchdown pass.

With 10 seconds left in the first half, Patriots running back Stevan Ridley rushed to the right side for a 1-yard touchdown. The score put the Patriots up 28-7 at halftime.

Brady has been strong for the Patriots, completing 14 of 22 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns. St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford has also been impressive, completing 14 of 16 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown.

Ridley leads the Patriots' ground game with 31 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Vereen has three carries for 21 yards and a touchdown.

Gronkowski has been Brady's favorite target Sunday, catching five passes for 106 yards and a touchdown. Danny Woodhead has caught three passes for 45 yards.
