The newest NCAA hockey poll has been released for the week of Oct. 15. The Boston College Eagles claimed the top spot last week, but they have dropped to No. 3 following a tough loss. Minnesota moved up to claim the No. 1 spot, while North Dakota moved from fourth to second despite not playing any games.

Miami enters ranked fourth in the nation after picking up two wins. Michigan ranks fifth, Cornell sixth, Denver seventh, Union eighth, Notre Dame ninth and Massachusetts-Lowell rounds out the top 10. Look for there to be plenty of movement here in the coming weeks once the schedule picks up.

Boston University jumped up one spot and is now ranked 11th. They won their lone game of the season over the weekend.

On the women's side of things, Minnesota sits as the best in the country. Cornell is second, Boston University is third and Boston College is fourth. Clarkson rounds out the top five with a perfect 4-0 record.
