Boston Sports TV Listings: Celtics preseason, NLCS highlight Monday night

The only Boston team in action Monday night are the Celtics, who have their fourth preseason game of the year while the MLB playoffs and Monday Night Football are also on.

NBA: Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, CSN, 8 p.m.: The Celtics have had a rough preseason, for those that care about such things, dropping a game to a Turkish opponent in Fenerbahce and losing in overtime Saturday night to the Knicks, but Boston fans know the aging Celtics are built for May and not October. They'll continue their preseason with a game at Philadelphia as they try to figure out who will earn their last roster spots.

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants, 8 p.m. FOX: The Cardinals are somehow on track to appear in the World Series for a second consecutive year after winning 6-4 in Game 1 Sunday night in San Francisco. Chris Carpenter and Ryan Vogelsong face off Monday night in San Francisco as the Giants try earn a home split.

NFL: Denver vs. San Diego, 8:30 p.m. ESPN: Peyton Manning takes to Monday Night Football again with hopes of bringing his team to .500 in a divisional matchup with Philip Rivers' San Diego Chargers.
