Boston University Vs. Binghamton Halftime Update: Terriers Cruising With 35-20 Lead Over Bearcats

Boston University knew they needed to fix a lot of things to earn their first win since December, but maybe they just needed the right opponent. The Terriers jumped all over Binghamton in the first half, to earn a 35-20 lead heading into the break.

Darryl Partin leads all players with 10 points for Boston University on 4-of-10 shooting. Point guard D.J. Irving has been incredibly impressive, recording six points and six assists, in his second game back from an injury. Redshirt freshmen Malik Thomas added seven points and four rebounds, to help the Terriers to their largest halftime lead of the season.

Bearcats sophomore guard Robert Mansell led the way for the road team with eight points on 3-of-3 shooting.

The Terriers dominated the paint, with a 12-8 lead in points in the paint and a 19-12 advantage on the boards. Boston University hit 42 percent of their attempts in the half, while the Bearcats managed just 34 percent.

Play was close through the opening minutes, before the Terriers went on a 9-1 run to take a 15-5 lead. Binghamton responded with a 5-0 run of their own, but failed to cut the deficit any further.
