It's only been two days, but these two names haven't left since this past weekend's All Star Break.
Both Zdeno Chara and Daniel Alfredsson left lasting marks on the weekend--Chara with a 108.8 mph blast in the hardest shot competition, and Alfredsson with just one goal shy of a hat trick on his home ice during the game on Sunday.
Unfortuantely for him, he had Tim Thomas standing in front of him in the third period, and couldn't convince him to give him the goal even in a friendly game when Team Chara was up by three goals.
And Alfredsson should expect the same thing tonight.
After seven days, the Bruins are back in action and will take a three game home stand starting tonight against the Senators. Thursday they host the Carolina Hurricanes, and Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Nathan Horton will once again be out of the lineup, with concussion like symptoms after being knocked in the head back on January 22. Head coach Claude Julien said it would be "at least three days" before he returns.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on NESN and aired live on 98.5 the Sports Hub.
