Boston University Vs. Hartford Final: Terriers Earn Sixth Straight With 65-46

Hartford kept the Terriers quiet for 20 minutes but couldn't keep Darryl Partin and the Boston University (10-11, 6-1 America East) silent in the second half as they ran past Hartford (4-15, 4-3). Partin scored 20 of his game-high 22 points in the second half as Boston University earned their sixth straight win by a 65-46 score.

After a horrible first half, Partin came alive with 14 of the Terriers first 22 points of the second half to open up a 42-24 lead with 12:02 to go. It's becoming a pattern for Partin, who has scored 82 points over his past five second halves (16.4 points per half) to propel the Terriers in their winning streak.

D.J. Irving added 15 points, a team-high seven assists on 6-of-7 shooting. Redshirt freshmen Malik Thomas added nine points off the bench for the Terriers who shot 46 percent for the game, after hitting just 29 percent of their attempts in the first half. Boston University connected on 40 percent (8-of-20) of their 3-point attempts, including six in the second half.

Freshmen Wes Cole led the Hawks with 11 points including three of the team's four 3-pointers. Leading scorer Andres Torres added 10 points, three assists and a team-high four rebounds for the Hawks who had won three in a row.
