UConn Vs. Notre Dame: Huskies Visit Fighting Irish For Early Start

The Huskies (13-3) bounced back from a two-game losing streak with a 64-57 home victory against West Virginia on Monday that ran UConn's Big East record to 3-2. Jeremy Lamb led UConn with 25 points and Andre Drummond added his fifth double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Irish (11-6) have rebounded from the loss of Tim Abromaitis to win three of their first four Big East games, including a 60-49 victory against South Florida on Tuesday.

UConn has not beaten Notre Dame in South Bend since Jan. 24, 2009. On that date, the Huskies snapped Notre Dame's school-record 45-game home winning streak with a 69-61 win.

Ryan Boatright will not play for UConn as the NCAA investigates his eligibility.
