Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, Game 1: 1pm Game 2: 6:30pm (TV/Radio: NESN/WEEI)

The Red Sox were routed yesterday by the Yankees and now face a doubleheader that, if the worst case scenario were to occur, could see their Wild Card lead completely eliminated. Tim Wakefield will get the ball in game one against AJ Burnett, and then John Lackey will take the mound in game 2 against Ivan Nova.

San Francisco Giants at Atlanta Braves , 4pm (TV: TBS)

National Football League

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills, 1pm (TV/Radio: CBS/98.5FM)

The Patriots look to take control of the AFC East when they visit the surprising Buffalo Bills. The Bills are off to a 2-0 start after averaging 39.5 points per game over the first two weeks. The Patriots are also out to a 2-0 start thanks to strong offensive performances against the Dolphins and Chargers.
