Kenny Chesney Comes To Chestnut Hill

Country music star Kenny Chesney stopped by Chestnut Hill on Friday morning to speak with the Boston College Eagles football team at the Yawkey Athletics Center.

While Chesney didn’t sing, he did share the importance of personal sacrifice and team sacrifice. Chesney was in the area because he is performing at Gillette Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

Eagles head coach Frank Spaziani gathered the team at 9:45 a.m. Friday and played one of Chesney’s music videos, “The Boys Of Fall.” In the video, Chesney touches on the emotions involved in football. After the video, Spaz surprised the team by bringing Chesney into the room.

Ever the company man, Spaz also presented Chesney with a Boston College jersey and hat.
