Tom Brady completed 11-of-19 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns and the New England Patriots stormed out to a 28-0 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccanears at halftime at Raymond James Stadium.
Brady found Aaron Hernandez for a 16-yard touchdown pass with 11:51 left in the opening quarter and found Chad Ochocinco on the next drive for an eight-yard touchdown pass with 6:55 remaining in the quarter. BenJarvus Green-Ellis scored on a one-yard touchdown run with 12 seconds left in the quarter, putting the Pats up by three scores.
Green-Ellis scored the only touchdown of the second quarter, scrambling one yard into the endzone for his second one-yard rushing TD of the game with 5:56 left before the break. Green-Ellis has 51 rushing yards and two TDs on 11 carries for New England.
Wes Welker leads all Pats receivers with five catches for 56 yards. Stephen Gostkowski connected on all four extra point attempts.
