According to Variety, Mike Florio, Lead Writer for NBC's Pro Football Talk and Darren Rovell, CNBC's Sports Business Reporter will both be getting their own shows.
↵Florio will anchor an hour-long football special, as yet unnamed, on Friday nights from 6-7 PM EST, with Rovell to follow him in a half-hour block. Florio's special is scheduled to run throughout football season, but there's no word on whether or not Rovell's show has such a timeline.
↵According to the post, Versus - to become the NBC Sports Network on January 2nd, 2012 - is also planning a daily sports recap show to air at six each weeknight as well, but plans for that show are still on the drawing board.
↵Florio's expertise, especially as it pertains to NFL transactions, will presumably be a big part of the show, but it's anyone guess what Rovell will talk about - after all, his field covers an awful lot of topics, and his tendency to tweet pictures of fried anything from state fairs makes the show that much more..uh, appetizing.
