The move to call up Exposito is a result of Jarrod Saltalamacchia's illness. Jason Varitek is playing in place of Saltalamacchia on Wednesday night, catching Tim Wakefield

Jenks is 2-2 with a 6.57 ERA, 14 strikeouts and 11 walks in 15 games this season.
