Antoine Walker Pleads Guilty After Writing Bad Checks To Las Vegas Casinos

Antoine Walker plead guilty to a felony charge of writing bad checks to pay off casino debt in Las Vegas. Walker, who is in the middle of an NBA comeback attempt, originally pleaded not guilty, but will now most likely be placed on probation and forced to pay back the $750,000 he owes to three different casinos.

Walker played in 43 games with the Stampede last season, averaging 16 points and 6.3 rebounds. In addition, Walker shot 44 percent from the field and 35 percent from three point range. Walker also averaged 3.4 assists for Idaho.

In 12 NBA seasons, Walker averaged 17.5 points and 7.7 rebounds. Walker played with the Boston Celtics for seven and a half seasons. His best statistical season came in 2000-01, when he averaged 23.4 points and 8.9 rebounds. In his season season in the league, Walker averaged 22.4 points and 10.2 rebounds in 82 games.
