Charl Schwartzel shot a final-round 66 on Sunday to win the 2011 Masters, finishing 14-under to best Jason Day and Adam Scott, a pair of Australians who tied for second at 12-under. For Schwartzel, a 31-year old South African, it is his first ever PGA Tour win, and just his eighth professional win overall (he's a member of the European and Sunshine Tours). He'll don the green jacket this year, thanks in large part to four straight birdies to end the day.
↵↵↵Schwartzel emerged from one of the more competitive final rounds at the Masters, with eight players within six shots of the leader, including a trio who finished for strokes back: Tiger Woods, Geoff Ogilvy and Luke Donald. The tournament's leader for the first three days, Rory McIlroy, had a historical collapse on Sunday, shooting an 8-over and falling all the way into a tie for 15th place at 4-under.
