Ohio State (29-2) and Kansas (29-2) are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the final AP Top 25 Poll of the regular season. This is the fifth time that the Buckeyes, who won the Big 10 Conference title and received 52 first-place votes, have been ranked first overall in the nation.
The Jayhawks had 13 first-place votes after topping then-No. 22 Missouri, 70-66, on Saturday. Pittsburgh (27-4) moved up one spot to No. 3. Notre Dame (25-5) jumped four spots to No. 4 and Duke (27-4) dropped one spot to No. 5.
North Carolina (24-6), which was ranked 13th last week, moved up to No.6 following its defeat of Duke on Saturday to win the ACC regular season title. San Diego State (29-2), Brigham Young (28-3), Purdue (25-6) and Texas (25-6) round out the top ten.
Kansas State (22-9) is ranked No. 19 after being unranked last week. No. 20 West Virginia (20-10), No. 24 Temple (24-6) and No. 25 Cincinnati (24-7) also joined the top 25 this week after being unranked one week ago.
Harvard (23-5, 12-2 Ivy) was unranked but did receive one vote in this week's poll. Boston College (19-11, 9-7 ACC) was also unranked after finishing its season with a win over Wake Forest but did not receive any votes.
ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll
Ohio State and Kansas are on top in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, receiving 25 and six first-place votes, respectively. Pittsburgh jumped up three spots to No. 3 while Notre Dame and Duke round out the top five.
