The 2011 McDonald's All-American Game, an annual event featuring 24 of the country's top high school basketball talent, tips off Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN; the girls' game is on ESPNU at 7:30 p.m.). The complete McDonald's All-American roster can be viewed here (PDF), but two players in particular are worth watching.
↵One is Austin Rivers, Rivals' No. 1 prospect. The Winter Park, FL, resident will play at Duke next season -- oh, and he's the son of Boston Celtics' head coach Doc Rivers. He already made some highlight packages earlier this week when he donned his father's old Hawks jersey and threw down a windmill in Monday night's dunk contest.
↵The other high schooler to keep an eye on is Khem Birch, a student at Notre Dame Prep School in Fitchburg, Mass.. The fourth-ranked power forward in his class is attending Pittsburgh in the fall. Both Rivers and Birch are playing for the West roster in Wednesday night's game.
